The steering is excellent , immediate and light enough to be comfortable but with enough weight in the control to feel the car's movement. The suspension isn't as forgiving as others but this may be down to the run flat tyres that are standard with all BMW's now. All the above coupled with a very good stereo , climate control , a number of airbags around the cabin ad remote locking makes this an excellent drivers car. The BMW 1 Series as A Fleet CarThe main desired features for a Fleet Car , as I see them , are low emissions ( for lower tax ) , fuel efficiency and a very comfortable drive regardless of distance.
